Original Partners

Pinellas Hope opened December 1, 2007 based on the three C’s of Community, Commitment, and Compassion as a temporary emergency shelter for over 250 homeless men and women. Today, Pinellas Hope remains open, thanks to the many dedicated individuals, groups, organizations, businesses and churches we like to call Partners. It is due to the ongoing involvement of our Partners that we are able to sustain our ministry to the marginalized in our community.  Of course none of this could be possible without the assistance of Mr. Harry Stonecipher, whose large gift in the 2007 made Pinellas Hope possible and with others like Dennis O’Hanlan who helped keep Pinellas Hope afloat after its initial trial period and 10 years later provides and serves meals monthly with his family, and many of our local cities (e.g., St. Petersburg, Pinellas Park, Largo, etc.) and Pinellas County for their steadfast partnership over the years! We also thank Clarit Financial Services for their gifts of key holiday meals, our front fence and gate, and importantly the new George Guthrie Welcome Center. Thank you for the thousands of volunteer hours, donated goods and meals, and your compassion for the less fortunate. Click here to view a partial list of many of these partners.
